Due to the unfortunate problems I've had with my pc I will forego the normal chit-chat and highly informative narrative that usually follows one of our famous Chapter meetings.

Suffice it to say, the Spring meeting, like all meetings held by this chapter, was a great success and those that missed it, missed out on some lively and heated discussions.

And, for the first time in the history of the world, our chapter nominated two of it's members to run for the office of Chapter President. It was also a first on the number of members who bothered to vote. Forty-three members voted with forty-two being counted. One ballot was received two days after the cutoff date of 29 May 2003. How is it that I happen to know the exact number of ballots cast? It's because Ken Stickney volunteered me to act as Chief Ballot Counter Extraordinaire.

There wouldn’t be a meeting without the dinner or the auction. The dinner was a success and I must admit, even though modesty haunts me, the Auctioneer did an outstanding job of selling off most of the items donated to the chapter. My thanks to all of you who brought something and my thanks to you who bought all the things that were brought. The chapter appreciates your support.

Bennie and Margie McDonald performed an outstanding tribute to our missing comrades. The demonstration, "POW/MIA CEREMONY" was a moving rendition and a wonderful homage paid to those still missing in far off shores. I'm trying to put up a web page just for the POW/MIA and use Bennie's presentation. Unfortunately I lost all the photos I took when my pc crashed. I'm hoping to use the photos Bob Hines sent me.

I realize my usual narrative will be missed by all but, in light of the fact I may not get my pc running at it's normal speed before the fall meeting, I thought it best to simply say a few innocuous words and then get right to the point of displaying the photo gallery . Enjoy yourself!
