Wayne Naihe
All of you that were at the meeting in Brevard on 19-21 January know Wayne Naihe was taken to the VA hosipital in Ashville, NC. At the time we thought he might be having a heart attack. Bill and Kaye drove to the hospital to visit Wayne and Gina. Bill has sent us this word:Wayne is resting well & feels great. He reports he is receiving the very best of care.
The plan is for a Nuclear Stress Test and Ultrasound on Monday, then probably a cardiac catheterization to rule out (or confirm) coronary artery disease.
An implantable defibrillator will be another possibility in the very near future.
It is likely he will be in the hospital for most of this coming week.
Updates to Waynes condition will be broadcast as it is received. I'm not sure if Wayne can receive phone calls but the phone number and room number were not included in this alert.
